Charlene Sue Kibby

Charlene Kibby, 68, passed away on May 28, 2021. Charlene graduated from East High School in 1971 and The University of Akron with a Masters in Education. She retired from Lake Local Schools after 32 years as a second grade teacher. She is survived by her father, Eugene Kibby; siblings, Becky (Jim) Ferrell and Gene (Laura) Kibby; nieces and nephews, Brenda (Ken Horning) Ferrell, Mike (Julie) Ferrell and Kyle and Holly Kibby; great-nephew, Dalton Ferrell. The family would like to extend special thanks to all of her lifelong friends and especially Sandy Mosses for all she did for Charlene. Visitation from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Thursday, June 3 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with funeral service at 1:00pm. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
