Charles A. Roberts
Charles A. Roberts, 72, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 surrounded by his family. Born in Burning Springs, West Virginia, Chuck lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls and was the founder of Tri-County Service Center in 1970 and retired in 2000 to Leesburg, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Lynn (Jim) Whitten of Munroe Falls, Cheryl (Rick) O'Dea of Brimfield, and Chuck Roberts II of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Orlen (Mary) Roberts of Vienna, WV; seven grandchildren: Michael, Jason, Heather (Kris), Olivia, Shelby, Sydney, and Charles III; and two great-grandchildren. Chuck also leaves many other relatives and friends, including his riding buddies from the Honda shop and Gator Harley in Leesburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. followed by a 5 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Coronary ICU, c/o Cleveland Clinic Institutional Development, 9500 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105.
