Charles J. Cetnarowksi, Sr.
Charles J. Cetnarowski, Sr., 87, loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, passed away Friday, September 14, 2007. He was born in Monessen PA and grew up in Akron. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, having served with General Patton in the 3rd Army and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. After retiring from Perma Construction Co., he spent many hours woodworking and gardening. He especially loved the family camp in Sinnamahoning PA. Mr. Cetnarowski was preceded in death by his parents, John & Josephine; son, David; brothers, Joe, Jake, Fab and Richard; sisters, Liz Pesko and Della Brunk. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Rose Ella; brother, John; sisters, Ann Comeione and Mary Litchenburger; son, Charles Jr. (Donna) of Akron; daughters, Jacqueline (Chuck) Yarbrough of Cle Elum WA and Karen McMurtery of Haley ID; grandchildren, Jeffrey Cockill, Sr. and Lynae (William)Crocker; great-grandson, Jeffrey Cockill, Jr. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Church with Fr. Jonathan Zingales presiding.
