Charles G. Maddox

Charles G. Maddox, 79, passed away peacefully January 14, 2024 after an extended illness. Born in Norton, Ohio to Harry and Catherine (Patko) Maddox, he resided in the Akron area all of his life. Chuck was a U. S. Army Veteran and he was a business entrepreneur. He was a sociable person who enjoyed music, multiple craft adventures, hanging out in his studio and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary, Jeni, Martha, Harry, Jimmy, Dorothy, Kathy. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 20 years, Kris; step-daughter, Lisa; beloved dog, Buddy; brother, Rich; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will celebrate Chuck's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Chuck's name to the Humane Society of Summit County or the charity of their choice.
