Charles Richard Monk "Chuck"
Charles Richard Monk, 55, of Akron, passed away May 14, 2011. Chuck was born in Akron on September 6, 1955 to the late William and Ellen Monk. He was employed at Ferriot Brothers for 5 years and later at Plastimatics in Rootstown for 5 years. Chuck will be deeply missed by his daughters, Julie Monk (Jeremy Terepka) and Rochelle Monk; brothers, Bill , Bob, Jim (Sandy), and Jeff; sister, Marie Mason (James); grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy, Gracie, and Mariah; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chuck's family to assist with funeral expenses.
