Charles S. Rogers

Charles S. Rogers, 77, of Mogadore, Ohio passed away on April 24, 2024. He was born on Dec 23, 1946 the son of Calvin Rogers and Barbara Rogers. Charlie graduated from Spencer High School with the class of 1965. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Charlie retired from Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority after 28 years of dedicated service from 1969 to 1997.
Charlie enjoyed fishing, a hearty breakfast, and vacations at the beach, but nothing brought him greater joy than the time spent with his grandchildren.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lana Rogers; daughters Renee (Brian) Trochowski and Stephanie (Dave) Jack; and was a very proud Papa to his four grandchildren Ethan, Colin, Audrey, and Scarlet.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Wednesday, May1st at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 12:00pm with pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.

Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
