Charles R. Shaver Sr.

Charles "Pa Pa" R. Shaver Sr., 78, of Akron, was rejoined with his wife in Heaven on October 15, 2021. He was born on March 5, 1943 in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Charles enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. He loved music (especially country), and cooking for family and friends. He always made sure those around him were well fed. Above all, Charles cherished his family and spending time with them.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Shaver.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Rick (Lisa) Woods, Christine "Emma" Adams, Charles (Catherine) Shaver Jr., and Richard Shaver; grandchildren, Charles, Ryan, Amber, Caleb, Karissa, Jace, Kyle, Matthew, Richard Jr., Ryan, David, Steven, Aaron, Alexis, Seth, Charles, Kira, Scotty, and Christine; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many great grand-children, who all loved him very much.

Charles will be laid to rest with his wife at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday November 4, 2021 at 2:15pm following military honors.
