Charles D. Sigman, 93 years old, went to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, September 27, 2020. He was born in Erbacon, WV to Clarence and Jennie Sigman on June 25, 1927. He moved to Akron in 1951 and worked for Goodyear Aerospace/Lockheed Martin, retiring after 37 1/2 years. After retiring, Charles went to work part time at The Chapel in the maintenance department where he was a long time member, and enjoyed spending winters in Arizona. He loved to be around people and he is best remembered for his sense of humor and wit. Charles loved his family more than anything and would do anything for them. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and Sunday afternoons were spent on hikes at the park with his children. He would light up when he was with his grandchildren. Even though dementia was taking over the past few years, he still knew who his family was.
