Charles G. St. John, Jr., age 69 of Ravenna, Ohio, died on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 12:03 AM at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
He was born on August 23, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Charles G. and Lula Mae Deering St. John, Sr.
Chuck was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a classic car collector and went to car shows with his car, which was a 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Survivors include his wife the former, Linda Fosnight, whom he married on January 17, 1970; his son, Charles G. (Julia) St. John, III; one granddaughter, Olivia St. John. His siblings also survive, Douglas St. John, Karen Smith, Robert St. John, and Bill St. John.
Other than his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee St. John.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 1 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
