Charles W. Taylor
Charles W. Taylor, 88, passed away January 24, 2007. Charles was born March 14, 1918 in Alabama. He worked for the Goodyear Lighter than Air program during World War II and later had his own electrical contracting business. He was a member of Suffield United Church of Christ and the Masons. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, as well as gardening and winemaking. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Genevieve; daughter, Priscilla Valentine; and granddaughter, Kari Ann Taylor. He is survived by his children, Tim (Kathleen), Terry (Doris), Pam (Mike) Williams, and Jon (Gayle); grandchildren, Brad (Jodie) Sellers, Brett (April) Sellers, Mark Taylor, Neal Taylor, Andrea (Brian) Sheeler, and Todd Taylor; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 State Rt. 43, Suffield, OH 44260, with Pastor Earl Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suffield United Church of Christ or the Suffield Fire Department. Private burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
