Charles W. Hull II. (Chuck)
Charles W. Hull II. (Chuck) 73, went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2015 after a 10 month battle with brain cancer. He was born in Sioux City, SD to the late Charles and Dorothea Hull. For over 50 years, Chuck owned and operated The Cobbler Shop on Kenmore Blvd. He was known as the doctor of shoes- "we heel them, attend to their dyeing, and save their soles." He was a loyal member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 25 years. Chuck and his wife enjoyed traveling and helping others with their addictions. He was the nicest man on earth, and loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister.
Chuck leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife and best friend of 24 years, Ann; children, Julie (Jimmy) Hull, Charles III, Judy (Brian) Speegle; step-children, Ray (Pam) Prunty, Lisa (Brian) Kellogg, Kelly (Marty) Foreman, John (Carol) Prunty, and Jen (Curt) VanCuren; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends who were like family.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday September 16, 2015 from 4-8pm and memorial service will be held on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor John Theilenhaus officiating. The family would like to thank the North Clinton Unit of Doylestown Health Care Center and Crossroads Hospice. Interment Lakewood Cemetery to be held at a later date.
