Charles Richard Witzky

Charles Richard "Charlie" Witzky, age 97 of Tallmadge passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was born in Mansfield, OH on June 22, 1924, a son of the late A. H. and Mary {Davidson} Witzky.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his son David Witzky, brother Harold Witzky and sister Eleanor Lash.
Charlie will always be missed by his sons Ken (Deborah) and Greg (Sally) Witzky; daughter-in-law Carol Witzky; brothers Rev. Gene Witzky, Robert Witzky and James (Beverly) Witzky; sisters Brenda (Rev. Robert) Juday and Phyllis (Jimmy) Arnott.
Charlie retired from PNC Bank, and was a longtime member of Grace Cathedral.
All are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Sunday, June 19th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A private graveside will be held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, where Charlie will be laid to rest with his wife, Jean.
