Charlie Harris of Akron Ohio, loving husband, father, faithful Jehovah's Witness, avid fisherman & entrepreneur passed away suddenly on June 20, 2021.
Born to Henry William & Willie Mae Harris on May 4, 1947. Charlie led a rich life, made beautiful memories and will be deeply missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years Jacqueline Cleo Harris; his five children who loved him dearly; Myra Lyn Harris-Pierce, Louise Bane (Aaron), Charisse Mae Harris-Wren (Kevin), Charlee Denise Harris, Charlie Harris II (Cheyenne); 4 grandchildren who will cherish his memory: Charéal Harris, Trenton Pierce, Charltin Pierce & Baby Wren arriving soon; his siblings who each had a special relationship with him; John Harris, Beulah M. Ford, Mary Louise Tucker, Bertha M. Lovett-Smith, W. Ruth Works-Brown (Sylvester), Imogene Jones, and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A virtual memorial will be held to celebrate his life on Sunday June 27 at 2:30 pm.
