Chelsey Dawn Werner

Chelsey Dawn Werner "Moosey", 18, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2019. She was born on February 11, 2001 in Akron, Ohio.

Chelsey was a very social and popular young woman who enjoyed sports (gymnastics, basketball, cheerleading and much more) and was a former student at Springfield High School. Chelsey had a very big heart, and a special love of animals. On the other hand she was very stubborn and KNEW everything! She enjoyed listening to music and coloring. She wouldn't go anywhere without her bag of sharpies. Chelsey was a very photogenic girl and would light up the room with her smile. She left a lasting impression on all who loved her.

Chelsey was preceded in death by her mother, Misty Dawn; and sister-in-law, Brii Lewandowski.

She will be deeply missed by her father, Dave Werner; her Bubba, Zack (Takara) Werner fur nephew, Buddy fur niece, Marlee; and brother, Gaige Werner; her Momal and Popal (Crickett and David Hutson); grandmother, Joyce Werner. great-grandmothers, Dickie and Thelma; aunts, Nickie (Ray) Prater, and Brandie (Chris) Beard; cousins, Gabbie "Gidget" (Adam) Prater, Sharr "Weedy" (Chris) Croston, and Allison Robinson; step-father, Robert "Bob" Carbaugh; close friends, Skylar Sipsock, Mandy (Mickey), Doug (Kelsey), Leah, and David Zook; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and numerous Friends.

Friends and family are welcome to visit on Saturday August 3, 2019 from 12pm until 3pm at Newcomer, Akron Chapel 131 N.Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will take place at 3pm officiated by Pastor Kim Lawrence.
