Surrounded by her loving family, Cheryl L. Hunt, 64, lifelong resident of Suffield, passed away July 23, 2007 at Hospice Care Center. She was born February 9, 1943 in Akron, Ohio. Cheryl enjoyed golf, gardening of both flowers and vegetables, vacationing, especially in Vegas, Hawaii and Cancun. She was heavily involved in the community with the Suffield Jaycees and with youth football for over 17 years with her husband, Bob. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids. She was an honest, kind and caring individual to everyone. She was preceded in death by her father, John Barry; son, Robert A. Hunt, II; and sister, Jacci Ross. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert A. Hunt, Sr.; mother, Mary Goff; children, Theresa (Don) Krager, David (Cindy) Hunt and Michelle (Chuck) Ulrich; grandchildren, Nicole, Tori, Lexi, Robby, Dawn Marie, Tara, Megan, Aulbrey and Tia; sister, Helen Shields; brothers, Richard Barry and William Barry (Rose); many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. on Saturday, August 4 from 3-6 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 5:30 p.m., Pastor Bob Cheyney officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mogadore Moose Lodge, 4095 Mogadore Rd., Mogadore OH on Sunday, August 5 from 3 - 7 p.m. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Hospice Care Center for their care of Cheryl.
