Cheryl Sodergren

Cheryl (Carroll) Sodergren, died peacefully in her home on May 11 after courageously battling cancer. Cheryl was born in Akron, Ohio on June 17, 1940. She retired from Goodyear in 2002 after 28 years service. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Carroll and her sister, Mitzi Boner. She is survived by her husband, Richard Sodergren of North Canton; mother, Mildred Carroll of Akron; brother, Thomas (Joyce) Carroll of Lakeland FL; sister, Connie (Mike) Farmer of Uniontown; niece, Marsha; nephews, Daniel, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Jason and Justin. She was a generous and loving wife, daughter and aunt always enjoying herself the most when she was with her family. Cheryl was a member of Ellet Grace Brethren Church. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17 at Ellet Grace Brethren Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Carey officiating.
