Cheryl Starcher

Cheryl Lynn Starcher, 65, of Akron, passed away January 11, 2016. Cheryl was born in Barberton on April 8, 1950 to the late Carl and Goldie Starcher. She devoted her life to her grandchildren and she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and baking. She loved her beloved dogs, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and James Starcher.
She is survived by daughter, Christine (Eddie) Cool; sons, David Conley, Reginald Pumphrey, and John (Hollie) Pumphrey; step-daughter, Heather (Joe) Scarlet; sisters, Madeline (Charlie) Duncan, Janet Skinner; many grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and her life partner, James Rentz.
Family and friends may call on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm with Pastor Glenn E.
