Cheryl Lee Sypherd, "Cher", age 61 of Akron, Ohio, died on June 7, 2018 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born on May 13, 1957 in Ravenna, the daughter of David Davis of Mogadore and the late Mary (nee Warren) Davis Minick.
Cheryl was a 1975 graduate of Southeast High School. She loved to go out shopping and eat lunch with her best friend and "mom", Liz Davis. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family, especially her grandson, Ashton.
In addition to her father, Cheryl is survived by her step-mother, Liz Davis; her son, David L. Warrington, Jr.; her grandson, Ashton Warrington; her sister-in-law, Sue Minick; and her dog, Abby.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
