Chester "Chet" A. Arthur, age 95 of Stow, Ohio, passed away on December 12, 2021.
Chet was born on November 7, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Thomas and Lillie (Voshel) Arthur. He owned and operated Chet's Truck Wrecking for 29 years.
Chet enjoyed going to the racetrack and playing bingo. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. One of Chet's biggest accomplishment was that he built his own house.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Hannah, son, Thomas Arthur, and granddaughter, Jenny.
Chet will be missed by his children, Judy Wallace, and Dan (Sharon) Arthur, grandchildren, Jimmie (Heather) Wallace, Jason (Chelsea) Wallace, Jodi (Matt) Parsons, Josh Arthur, Nicole Arthur, and Mike Arthur, multiple great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Northampton Cemetery.
