Christ Arthur "Art" Koloniar, 77, passed away May 8, 2010 at the Traditions Nursing Home on Bath Rd. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea, and he received a Purple Heart. Art was a union plasterer for over 50 years, and was a member of Plasterer's Local #109. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735. Art was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, 3 sisters, and a baby boy. Art is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra; daughter, Susan (Tim) Labbe; son, Keith (Debbie) Koloniar; brothers, Andrew (Lee) Koloniar, and Anthony (Joyce) Koloniar; grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole, Jessica, and Christian; 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Muakkassa, Dr. McLaughlin, Dr. Vrabel, and the Traditions Nursing Home's director & staff. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Friday, May 14, at 6 pm at the Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene, 330 E. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223, with Pastor Chris Patton officiating. Burial at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene.
