Christine Joyce Foster, "CJ", age 37 of Akron, Ohio, died on September 29, 2017 at 10:48 AM.
She was born on November 5, 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of James and Tina Allen Foster with whom she lived.
CJ was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, friends, and partaking in celebrating life. She was a real "daddy's girl". She used to work as a 911 operator in Cleveland. She loved to play raquetball and swim.
In addition to her parents, CJ is survived by her three children, Devon, Doran, and Christina; her sister, Jenifer "Sissy" (fiance Michael Green) Foster; uncles Bill (Donna) Foster and Ronald Foster; and cousins, Richard and Stanley Tokar, Tracy and Ricky Kohler, Sara and Guy Allen, Mandy and Ron Foster, Scott (Nicole), Mr. and Mrs. Bill Foster, and Crystal Foster.
Christine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guy "Casey" and Phyllis (nee Butler) Allen and William Gladys (nee Walker) Foster.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
A memorial gathering will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Church in Silver Lake, 2951 Kent Road, Silver Lake, OH 44224.
