Christine Lisa Kollar

Christine Lisa Kollar, age 48, of Akron, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Summa Akron City Hospital.
She was born on April 1, 1969 in Northampton, PA, the daughter of Ronald and Maryann Kale of Mount Joy, PA and the late Molly Fay (nee Morgan) Marshall.
Christine was a graduate of Springfield High School. She worked as a secretary for Summa Health.
Christine enjoyed her animals, and she also loved to craft.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Edward Kollar, whom she married on May 9, 2014; her children, Sarah Spickard, Anna Spickard, Zachary Kollar, and Bethany Kollar; one granddaughter, Lettie; her siblings survive, Jon Marshall, Debbie (Randy) Enck, and Joseph LaDuca; her husband's siblings also survive, Dan (Carol) Kollar, Joan (Chris) Grispin, Kathy (Richard) Kelnhofer, Tony (Sheri) Kollar, and Patty (Danny) Fogle; her mother-in-law, Mary Alice Kollar; her first husband, Doug Spickard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Emily Spickard.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 17, 2017.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, in Christine's memory.
