Christopher Paul Mcatee

Christopher Paul McAtee, 40, of Akron, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2017. He was born in Barberton, Ohio in 1977, the son of Paul McAtee and Barbara Holmes. Chris loved his family and he loved helping people more than anything. He was known for his kind heart, his laugh and he would be the first to give you the shirt off his back or try to bring a smile to your face. Chris was very strong-willed and at the same time, very caring. He liked trucks, Mustangs, old cars and animals.
In addition to his parents, Chris will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
Private services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McAtee family in care of the funeral home.
