Christopher Lee Mcgee

Christopher Lee McGee, "Chris", age 61 of Barberton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2021 at his home.
He was born on November 6, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Herbert Brownlo McGee and the late Edna Yvonne (nee Farner) Diaz.
Chris worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Akron for 20 years. He also was a construction worker when he lived in Florida. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, singing and music. His greatest joy was spending time with his five grandchildren and his dogs, Hershey, Taz and Hootie.
Survivors include his children, Mellisa "Missy" Grieve, Renee (Fiancee Stuart Giebner), Kristie and Joshua McGee; his five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brianna, Kyden, Karalyne and Edward Christopher. Also surviving are the mothers of his children, Dodie (nee Thompson) McGee and Roxanne (nee McGinnis) (Jerry) Howard.
His siblings also survive, Joyce Sill and James White.
Other than his parents, Chris was followed in death by his son-in-law, Keith Grieve on December 18, 2021 and preceding him in death were his brother, George and Lewis White; and his brother-in-law, Dusty Sill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Joel Cochran will celebrate Chris' life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
The family invites anyone who wishes to attend to come casually dressed.
Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray costs of the funeral.
