Clair O. Lewis, 78, died on November 25, 2010, at Summa Hospice, Akron, Ohio. Born December 5, 1931 in Kerrmoor, PA, son of the late William and Eunice Lewis. He was an Air Force Korean War Veteran and worked at Akwell Corp. and Walmart. Survived by wife, Peggy Lewis, of Akron; children, Phillip Lewis, Susan, Brian (Vicki) Lewis, and Martha (Roger) Ruman; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Roberta Hockenberry. He also was one of the founding members of the Clarkmill Rd. Church of Christ in Norton. Clair was a member of the Church of Christ for 52 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and Blair Lewis; and sister, Lucinda. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Brother Tim Watts of Readyville, TN officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
