Clara H. Della-Serra, 85, passed away on July 5, 2009. She was born in Akron on July 20, 1923. Clara enjoyed BINGO, playing cards, cooking, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a feisty individual with a good sense of humor. Preceded in death by her husband Nicholas R. Della-Serra; sons Donald and Marion; sister Cornella Vardon; and brother Peter Ross. Survivors include her sons Michael, Gary, Richard, and Ronald; brother John Ross; grandchildren Angela and Brittany; and great-grandchildren Zoey and Anthony. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
