Clare Earl Probst

Clare Earl Probst, age 93, of Ravenna, passed away on November 25, 2024 in the comfort of his home with loving family by his side. He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on December 5, 1930 to the late William and Ota (Phillips) Probst. He married Regina Shuman on October 8, 1951 and shortly after they moved to Ohio where he was a life long self-employed construction contractor. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 60 years.

Clare is survived by his loving wife Regina of 73 years; children Lyle (Virginia) Probst, Julie (Gerald Jr.) Ellsworth; grandchildren Monica (Jason) Honeycutt and Robert (Christina) Ellsworth; great-grandchildren Kyle, Bryce, Jonas and Cade Honeycutt, and Gwendolyn Ellsworth; and numerous other relatives and friends including his special caregiver Stacy.

He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Gene Probst.

Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park.
