Clarence (Sandy) Ellis Dalton, 60, died October 23, 2010 following a long illness. Mr. Dalton was born in Clarksburg, WV, and lived most of his life in Akron, which was a place he was very proud to call home. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and a long time employee of Bowe Bell & Howell. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his parents, Versel and Ruth Ann Dalton. He is survived by his brother, Bud (Betty) Dalton of N. Canton; and nieces, Nichole (Jeff) Masar of Uniontown and Heather (Terry) Smith of N. Canton. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 26, from 6 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Burial will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
