Clarence F."Jack" Hill

Clarence "Jack" F. Hill, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2002. He was born November 25, 1921 in Akron to the late James A. & Iona Hill. Mr. Hill was a retired Tool Designer from RB & W after 35 years of service, a member of Tallmadge Fellowship Church and an Army veteran having proudly served during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James "Jackie" Hill in September of 2001; sister, Opal King; 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Murliah Hill, of Akron; sons, Robert (Deborah) Hill of Atwater, Jerry (Jackie) Hill of Akron; daughter, Carol Ann Hill; sister, Mae (Max) Benedum of Canal Fulton; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Knepper officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
