Clarence Ward
Clarence Ward, 65, of Akron, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2009. Clarence was born May 10, 1944 in Tomahawk, Kentucky. He was retired from Exxon Mobile and also worked in the Rubber Industry at Mohawk Tire and Rubber, B.F. Goodrich, and Goodyear. Clarence was a member of the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Tallmadge for many years. He was a loving and caring father to his children. He had a large family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by his lifelong companion and friend, Patricia A. Ward; daughter, Lisa M. Ward; son, Ron L. Ward; sisters, Julia (Don) Jarvis, Magdalene (Bud) Parsons, Peggy Thompson, and Debby Le Doux; brothers, Larry, Paul (Connie), and Darrell (Donna) Ward; grandchildren, Bobby, Daniel, and Leah. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, 199 South Ave, Tallmadge, Pastor Kenneth Bulgrin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
