Clark R. Grable Jr., 58, of Akron, passed away on December 7, 2021 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born in Wickliffe, Ohio on August 20, 1963 and he served in the U.S. Air Force. Clark was the owner of C&T Transport for 30 plus years. He was a very hard worker and was always true to his word. If Clark said he was going to do something, he did it. His greatest loves were traveling and being with his family. He was a devoted son to his mother and he found great joy in being a grandfather. Every grandchild received a special nickname from him.
Clark was preceded in death by his father, Clark R. Grable Sr.; wife, Teresa Grable; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Kelly-Grable. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Suzann Johnson; mother and stepfather, Judith Christensen and Carl Greathouse; sons, DJ (Jessica) Grable, Clark R. Grable III, and Robert (Jessica) Grable; sisters, Melodie Grable (Thomas), Robin Willis (Greg), Velvet Grable (Jerry), and Dawn Bleichrodt (Bruce); stepsons, Jesse Johnson and Brian Johnson (Amber); grandchildren, Anthony, Connor, Jayden, Vanessa, Tanisha, Abigail, Henry, Quinn, and Miles; many dear nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
