Cleo F. Wilson, 75, of Hartville, died on January 11, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born June 28, 1929 in Herndon, West Virginia to the late Jessie Fairbanks & Druzella May (Ford) Grubb. Cleo enjoyed gardening, canning, was a very caring person and helped many people. She was a member of Community Baptist Temple, was a licensed beautician and an excellent dessert chef. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Schafer and sister, Judy Miller. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Guy P. "Buddy" Wilson; daughter, Brenda Lauze of Strafford, New Hampshire; sons, Donald P. Wilson and Charles E. Wilson both of Mogadore; grandchildren Jenny Wilson, Michelle Wilson, Cara Wilson, Chad Lauze, Nolan Lauze, Jason Wilson, Lance Corporal Craig Wilson USMC, Kimberly (Schafer) Cline and Jeffrey Schafer; great-grandchildren, Monica and Javier Schafer; sisters, Audrey Wilson and Jean (Donald) Miller both of Union WV; brothers, Jesse (Karen) Grubb of Manchester OH and George (Ina) Grubb of Union WV; sister-in-law, Virginia Lemons of Ronceverte WV; brother-in-law, Gerald Lemons of Union WV; special niece, Linda Corrick; many other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Community Baptist Temple, 1398 Canton Rd. with Pastor Mark ODonnell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Temple, Lakemore Fire Dept. or Hartville Fire Dept.
