Clifford B. Longfellow, Sr.
Clifford B. Longfellow, Sr., 81, passed away April 28, 2009 at Cardinal Village Independent Living. He was born February 11, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to the late Porter & Margaret (Rogers) Longfellow. Clifford was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church. He retired from the City of Akron where he worked as a Construction Foreman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willodyne R. Longfellow; sons, Dennis and Patrick Longfellow; and brother, Bill Longfellow, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret (Gary) Laston; sons, Clifford B. (Michelle) Longfellow, Jr., Jeffrey E. (Bonnie) Longfellow and Timothy E. (Paula) Longfellow; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 4 at St. Vincent Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N Main St., PO Box 2090, Akron OH 44398-6153 or to the American Cancer Society, 252 N Broad St., Canfield OH 44406.
