Clifford M. Booth
Clifford M. Booth, 59, passed away on June 1, 2007. He was a 1965 graduate of East High School and a veteran of the Vietnam war, having served with the US Navy. He retired from the Akron Police Department. Clifford was a member of Masonic Lodge-Coventry, Royal Arch Masons-Portage Chapter No. 202, Tadmor Shrine, and Scottish Right-Valley of Akron. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and belonged to the Tadmor Rod and Gun Club. Preceded in death by his father Monroe Booth, Jr. Survivors include his mother Gertrude Booth; sister Gwen (Duane) Keith; and nephews Michael and Daniel Keith. A funeral service will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor J. Christy Ramsey officiating. Calling hours will be from Noon until the service time with a Masonic service at Noon. Interment will be Monday, 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
