Clifford R. Pluck, Sr.
Clifford R. Pluck, Sr., 82, of Akron, was promoted to Glory on February 21, 2005. He was born September 10, 1922 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Walter R. & Florence E. (Miller) Pluck and later served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Clifford was a member of Springfield Fellowship Church and the + or - 60 Television Ministries. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and David Pluck. He is survived by his son, Clifford R. Pluck, II of Akron; sister, Margaret (Harry) Walker of Akron; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at Springfield Fellowship Church with Rev. O. Homer Burket officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Clifford's memory to the family.
