Clifton R. O'Dell

Clifton R. O'Dell, 82, of Akron, passed away November 30, 2013. He was born in Quinwood, WV on April 25, 1931 to the late Romeo and Esther O'Dell. Clifton was a graduate of Marshall University in 1953 and spent 40 plus years in the insurance industry.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Deloris Landis and Nancy Seabolt.

Clifton is survived by his wife, Shelva, of 60 years; children, Bryan , Deborah (Edward) Barcelo; sister, Carlene Jones; brother, Roger O'Dell; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, December 4, from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will follow calling hours at 7 p.m. with Rev. Todd Tackett officiating. Interment at Wallace Cemetery in Clintonville, WV.
