Clinton E. Fouts "Gene", 74, went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2012. Gene retired from Consolidated Freightway.
Preceded in death by sons, Michael and David Fouts; grandson, Kevin Fouts; brother, Chuck; sister, Marlene. Survivors include wife, Penny, of 45 years; sons, Rick (Sherry), Danny (Jennifer); daughters, Tamera Klayko, Roxanne Wilkerson, Dawn (Rick) Dietz, and Beth (Matt) Smith; brothers, Fred (Sandy), Roger (Mary), Bob (Fran); sisters, Mary (Ron) Collins, Ruth (Gordon) Stein; brothers-in-law, Albert (Evelyn) Adams, John (Linda) Adams, Leon Tugmon; sisters-in-law, Nadara (Malcolm) Mader, Chris Vann, Sue (Jim) Carrico, Joyce Adams; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Pastor John Burton, Jr. officiating.
