Clyde D. Hartman

Clyde D. Hartman, 76, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2018. He loved spending time with his family and loved the Lord. He was a preacher for over 20 years. Clyde was a very dedicated and hard-working man and usually worked 3 jobs most of his life to provide for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Goldie Hartman; siblings, Eleonore Thorn, Edith Danser, Betty Newsome, Mamie Brummage, and George Hartman. Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Loria; sons, Steven and Darrell; daughter, Sharon (Chester) Clark; grandchildren, Debbie, Jennifer, Amanda, Brandon (Holly), Taylor (Curt), and Randall; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Piper, Lily, Harper and Lucas; brothers, Everett and John Hartman; sister, Macel White; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday November 12, 2018 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 12pm. Visitation will be held from 11-12pm at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Stephens officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
