Clyde A. LeMaster, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Clyde was born in Akron, Ohio on October 14, 1925 to the late Jasper and Orvia LeMaster. Clyde was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Monarch where he worked as a manager in the Quality Control department for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Mogadore Lions Club, Wayfarer Lodge #789, American Legion and VFW Post 8487.
Clyde married his loving wife Patty LeMaster on March 26, 1948 and she preceded him in death in 2016. He is also preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
He is survived by his children, Linda (Edward) Wilson and Mark (Sue) LeMaster; brothers, Kenneth (Pat), and Earl (Betty) LeMaster; grandchildren, Jenny (Nate) Hendricks, Chris (Jennifer) Studebaker and Hannah LeMaster; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooke, Taylor and Nathan; and many other family members and friends.
The Wilson's would like to say "Thank You" to Carolyn (Sis) and Jim O'Brien, Kenny (Pat) LeMaster, Pam (Jim) Elsbury and Earl (Betty) LeMaster for all of the care, time, support, love and attention that you have given to Clyde.
The family would like to also thank Bonnie's Home Health Care and Crossroads Hospice for all the care and support they have given.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron.
