Clyde O. Ebeling
Clyde O. Ebeling, born on December 30, 1912, went to sing with God's Choir of Angels on November 10, 2004. Clyde's passion was music and he shared that love with many young people over his 36 years of teaching High School Choir and Band. His last 18 years of teaching was at Nordonia High School from where he retired in 1975. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Herbert; daughter, Vicky; and granddaughter, Valerie. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty of Stow; daughter, Claudia (Jim) Simmons of Suffield; sister, Ruth Lyman of Arcadia FL; grandchildren, Erin and Michael Simmons of Suffield, John Thomas of Texas; great-grandson, Taylor; many nieces, nephews and honorary granddaughter, Veronica Andrews. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the service begins. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of Falls Village for their care and encouragement to Clyde over the past 1 1/2 years.
