Clyde "Bob" Riddle

Clyde R. Riddle "Bob", 77, of Louisville, passed away on December 6, 2021. Sometimes even the best need their rest. Bob was born in Akron on March 26, 1944 to the late Clyde and Katheryn Riddle. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Bob had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. He had a stubbornness about him as well as a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Donna Riddle, Gerald Riddle, David Riddle, James Riddle, Terry Riddle, and an infant sister.
Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Riddle; children, Christina Surgeon, Robert Riddle, Walter (Hope) Riddle, Cheryl Labine, Melissa (Eddie) Davis; and the "daughters he adopted" along the way, Stacy, and Melinda; siblings, John "Jackie" Riddle, Evelyn (John) Beigh, Karen Riddle, Michael (Joan) Riddle, Richard Riddle, Donald Riddle, Leroy Riddle, Cheryl-Lee Meerdink, Carol Mendenhall, and Charles Riddle; grandchildren, Dakota, Cayden, Johnny, Logan, Bryce, and Kasley; many nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1-3 followed by a 3 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bob's family to help defray final expenses.
