Cody Collins Jr.

Cody L. Collins Jr., 73, of Akron, passed away on March 6, 2018. Cody was a proud US Army Veteran. He was a friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. for almost 30 years. Cody worked for himself as a commercial painter for over 30 years. He coached baseball and basketball for his sons. Cody was a hell of a good husband, son, brother, father, and friend.

Cody was preceded in death by his father, Cody L. Collins Sr.; son, Eric Sargent; and sister, Linda Collins.

Cody will be deeply missed by his wife of over 20 years, Susan Collins; mother, Dorothy D. Collins; children, Tracie Titus, Cody, Aaron (Rena) Sargent, and Sean (Tiffany) Sargent; brothers, Gary (Debbie) Collins, and Jan (Pam) Collins; sisters, Brenda (Mike) Adkins, and Debbie; 6 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Saturday March 10, 2018 to visit from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1pm.
