Colleen A. Mattucci, 51 of Akron, went home to be with her Lord December 2, 2008. Born in Akron,Ohio to the late James & Jane (Smith) Rarick. Devoted wife, mother,and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Peter J. Mattucci of 29 years; daughter Chandra ( Dennis) O' Brien; son Joseph M. Mattucci; sister Debbie (John) Kerpsie; brothers John Rarick and Steven (Wendy) Rarick; grandchildren Austin and Zachary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. with Fr. Jonathan Zingales officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to DBSA, 730 N. Franklin St., Ste. 501, Chicago IL 60654-7225.
