Colleen Susan Gerhart

Colleen S. Gerhart passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 69. She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Walter and Etta Mohney on August 26, 1953. She attended Central High School. After school, she went on to become a loving stay at home mother for many years. Once her children were older, she worked here and there but retired from Universal Screen Arts. She was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians and Ohio State Buckeye's fan. She loved to go bowling and scratch lottery tickets. Colleen was extremely blunt and everyone will remember her for always being right. She was very intelligent and you could ask her anything. Her family will always love and miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Gerhart Sr.; and sisters, Marlene and Carol.

Survivors include her children, Angela Gerhart, Steve Gerhart Jr. and Leslie (Steve) Carnes; grandchildren, Gary, Cassidi (Vinnie), Alexis (AJ), Michelle, Alicia, Danielle, Stevie III, Zachary, Faith, Jason, Cierra, Piper, Tavin, Celina, Cannon, Cameron, Carissa and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Brent, Dalton, Emmy, Xavier, Nayeli, Aryia, Claire, Baby Steve IV, and Izzy; siblings, Walter (Carolyn) and Lois; as well as other nieces, nephews and friends.

A very special thank you to Vicky and TJ for all of their love and support as well as to Maggie and others with Summa Hospice who helped care for our mom.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 3-6:00pm with a funeral service to immediately follow. Per her wishes, cremation will take place and her remains will be buried with her late husband at Hillside Memorial Park at a future date.
