Colleen Angela Moore

Colleen Angela Moore, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was born in Akron, Ohio on March 24, 1961, where she spent her childhood.
Colleen moved to Los Angeles as a young adult where she worked for 30 years in the music entertainment business. She loved music of various types and played the piano. Colleen loved meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. She loved having movie night with others who shared her love of movies. She loved animals and enjoyed going to the ocean when she lived in California.
Colleen found a church home and friends wherever she happened to be. Her faith and church involvement were very important to her, and she was proud of her mission work in her younger years.
Colleen had a quality of innocence and happiness. She had a smile to share with everyone and saw the goodness in others. Her happy nature and ever-present smile had an impact on those around her.
Colleen was preceded in death by her loving parents, Larry and Martha (Weichmann) Moore; and loving grandparents, Angelo (Bill) and Irene Williams, and Lawrence and Margaret (Holt) Weichmann. Colleen was devoted to her parents and grandparents.
Colleen is survived by extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins (Williams, Moore, Adkins, Morgan, Weichmann, and Holt families).
The family would like to say a special thanks to the dedicated staff at Arbors at Stow and Bella Care Hospice for their care and compassion to Colleen and the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home - Akron. Inurnment to take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A private family service will be held at a later date.
