Connie A. Hensley, age 72 of Tallmadge, Ohio, fell into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born on November 18, 1944 in St. Albans, WV, the daughter of the late Noah and Cecile Adkins Perry.
Connie was a 1962 graduate of St. Albans High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her church-The Chapel in Akron, where loving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave her strength and courage; She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jerrold R. Hensley, whom she married on December 26, 1968; her two daughters, Jeri (Robert) Ball, and Cindi (John) Fagan; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Arden (Glenda) Perry.
Other than her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, Harold, Philip, and Gary Perry, and Jane Dale.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
