Connie Vernino

Connie Vernino, 59, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 with her son by her side. Born in Latrobe, PA to Nujay and Alice (Moore) Vernino, she resided there until 2009 when she relocated to Portage County, OH. Connie enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, collecting horse pictures and spending time with her family.

Connie will be sadly missed by her children, Chris Barger (April Smith), Britany Fillmore (Anthony Klejka); 5 grandchildren; sisters, Rose, Valerie; nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of Connie's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Connie's name to Akron Children's Hospital.
