Corbin Adkins

Corbin Roy Adkins, 85, of Ravenna, passed away on February 16, 2023. He was born in Wayne County, WV on June 25, 1937 to the late Halida and Hasty Adkins.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife Kay Adkins in November of 2022; son James "Jim" Adkins; brothers: Sherman Adkins, Lorain Adkins; sisters: Lavonia Jordan, Bonnie Berger, Gloria McClain; brothers-in-law: Franklin D. Marchand Jr., Richard C. Marchand, Robert E. Marchand, Jack M. Marchand, Eugene P. Marchand, James E. Marchand, Russell Marchand, Homer L. Jordan, Eugene P. Berger, James E. Stollar, Robert L. McClain; sisters-in-law, Ida Belle Marchand, Eileen M. Conroy, Phyllis J. Rudd, Shirley A. Pinkston, Marjorie Adkins.

Roy will be dearly missed by his loving daughters Carla (Wayne) Boggs, Brenda Adkins; sons Mark Hungerford, Michael (Amy) Adkins; daughter-in-law Marge Adkins; sister Boncil Stollar; grandchildren Sarah Adkins, Nicole (Andre) Willard, Brandon (Kailen) Boggs, Brian Adkins, Delaney Adkins, and Brayden Adkins; great-grandchildren, Aisley and Ashton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 p.m. until the start of service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
