Cornell Curtician, 89, of Akron, died August 16, 2005. Born in Farrel, PA to the late Steve & Alice (Pocora) Curtician. Cornell enjoyed the big bands and ball room dancing. He was also a member of Eagles Lodge #555 and Local Teamsters # 92 of Canton. Preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and George Curtician and one sister, Florence Santell. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marie ( Bertolasio) Curtician; one daughter, Judy ( Larry) Shuler, two sons, Karl (MaryLou) Curtician of Kent, OH, David ( Debbie) Curtician of Diamond, OH; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Jeffery, Stacie and Alicia; 9 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home with calling hours Thursday from 5 - 8. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
