Coy Samuel Steuart, age 78 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on April 21, 2020 at Sunrise Assisted Living.
He was born on May 15, 1941 in Wooster, Ohio, the son of the late McConnell and Grace (nee Major) Steuart.
Coy lived in Wooster, Ohio and graduated form Wooster High School. He completed his Bachelors Degree at Ohio University and served in the US Army in 1965. He was a soldier in wartime, being honorably discharged from service in 1968.
Mr. Steuart lived most of his adult life in Summit County, working and retiring from the Private Industry Council in Akron, Ohio. He was a huge baseball fan, especially of the Cleveland Indians. He loved to watch old movies and listen to a vast repertoire of music. Coy was also a member of The Chapel in Akron.
Survivors include his children, Jessica (David) Irwin of Plymouth Meeting, PA and Lee (Janice) Steuart of Stow, OH; his grandchildren, Tyler Irwin, Abigail (Blake) Helton, Nathan Irwin, Katelyn Irwin, Rachel Steuart and Anna Steuart. Also surviving is his former wife, Sharon (nee Bowlby) Steuart.
In accordance with the current State of Ohio restricitons with social gatherings, there are no calling hours or services, and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio.
There will be a burial at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls and Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care and loved that they showed toward Coy.
